Climate Change Adaptation

With financial support from the African Development Bank(afDB) The ministry of water Sanitation and Irrigation through Rift Valley waterworks Development Agency.(RVWWDA) as an employer and Lake Victoria  south water works Development Agency(LVSWWDA) as the Engineer has constructed Ugunja -Sega –Ukwala water Supply and sanitation project to support the Kenya towns sustainable water supply and sanitation programme. SURECA/SEAL has been engaged by the employer to carry out the consultancy services for managing the project. Tembea therefore contracted under Environmental Conservation, community training and water resilience program activities and campaign to implement climate change adaptation project. The Organization has supported setting up indigenous flood control , ground covers and protective tree seedlings  nurseries in 9 primary schools, supplied and grew indigenous trees  flood control trees at the intake , treatment plant, canal and spoil areas, conducted training for youth groups women and PLWD.
